that looks like a pretty damn good deal. i just built one a few months ago…
Athlon64 3500+ 512 mb PC3200 DDR RAM, etc for around $270 after rebates.

if the heatsink already has the cooling tape on the heatsink you don’t need it, but if it’s bare metal, apply the paste about the size of a small pea on the processor core itself then spread with either a credit card or razor blade, i prefer razor blade, just dont score the processor core.

You wont need thermal paste if you got the heatsink with the processor. They come with it already applied to the heatsink. The key is applying it correctly. If you got a bigger heatsink or are water cooling it you will need some paste, it will most likely come with either of them though. It kind of like doing head gaskets. it has to be done right.

You should know about head gaskets with that super coupe… I had one but sold it before they were about to go out.
