so lets say I bought an unlocked Iphone, and wanted to activate it on my work account for AT&T and NOT through the normal iphone plan. Does any regular SIM work in the phone? or is the sim in the iphone made specifically for it? And if it is, can that sim be activated on regular accounts?

The person I’m buying it from has been using it on his work plan, and has no clue how the thing works since he had someone do it for him.

help is greatly appreciated.

yes it does. unlock and jailbreak it and use away.

it will work with any gsm(at&t,t-mobile) network once it’s unlocked. jailbreaking basically means you can add third party applications.

Yep, just switch the SIM card. I bought my iPhone used and did the same thing.
