Hi Guys,

So up until recently I had not been very active on this forum much.
I ended an Accord Coupe lease early at the end of August and got one of my dream cars-

2012 Phantom Black Evo X GSR (new leftover)
Sight & Sound Package
Exterior Package

My goal is to get close to 400whp/tq on the stock block and turbo. For now I’m just doing some light mods to get it ready for winter. Once the spring comes I will get it tuned and start building it. I’m sure after I get close to my 400 goal I will enjoy it for a bit then plan on a bigger turbo and other supporting mods to get it closer to 750.

Yea but they were pretty stingy about it. Took me a while to get em down to a price I felt was reasonable. I still had 7 payments left on my lease though, and it had a little bumper damage (scratches from backing into a rock). I wanted to get out of the lease as I only had about 100 miles left until I started going over.
Had to go back the day after I got it too as I noticed slight damage around the driver side headlight. If I had to do it again I would just get a beater for winter and get a new 2014 when my lease was due and get one from out of state. They might still have the MR but I highly doubt they will budge much on the price.

Congrats on your purchase. I’ll keep my eye on this thread, to see what it woulda been like if I bought an evo instead.

Corroded AYC/ACD pumps, paint missing from your rear doors from salt and rocks hitting it etc. I still wouldn’t trade this car for anything besides a GTR though. You can’t beat the bang for the buck!

If you could manage to do a forward facing kit on this car you would probably sell a substantial amount of whatever you come up with. It just doesn’t seem feasable to do on the X with everything sitting behind the engine near the firewall.
