Sup guys… i havent been on a while… dial-up drives me nutz, so i’d rather not get on the internet.
two weeks ago, i was riding in a poker run with some guys i met,… most of them were R6’s, one gixxer 600, older gixxer 1100 and there was one '03 R1. several times me and the R1 went at it… never could get really all that far b/c of everyone else, but we were very close each time… he’d get me, then i’d get him, and so in… however, we got one good chance… raced from 40 or 50 to 170… dead even the whole way… felt like i was actually creeping just a little bit, but not enough to make a real difference…
I was very proud of my bike… all i know about the R1 is that it had a Yosh pipe… anythign else, i dunno… i was pretty surprised… i always felt like ppl on here were talking a shitload of B.S. sayin that an f4i would blow me away… but i never felt like i could keep up with the I4 litrebikes… especially on the top end, b/c my bike seems to shine even more in the mid-range than the top end…
anyhow, not important, but i thought i’d inform u guys anyhow…
and all of that is w/ the restricted timing curves still on my bike… its a killer… the more and more i ride my bike, the more i notice the restrictor, especially in 2nd gear… i’m going to purchase the derestrictor soon tho… can’t wait!
sorry but that F4I i worked on still going to woop on ya… that rider must of been a pussy. ive ridden TLRs and they got nice down low but no topend pull.
Christ ain’t that the truth. Quik is god’s gift to motorcycles. Don’t you know skill on a bike is measured by how much shit you talk disabled on the internet.
well a busa is list referred to as a hyper bike cause of the CCs and the bike i ride is a litre bike. they have power cause of the displacement but they have a low ground cleareance. also they dont handle as well as a true sport bike. alot of ppl buy these for a more sport touring feel or for the drag racing purpose. also alot of posers get these bikes cause they dont know much about them an think they are the baddest
oh geez… give me a fuckin break… none of the 600’s were anywhere near the guy on the R1 and myself… and… yes, its very strong down low, but actually pulls hardest in the 7K-“redline” range…
if your f4i has a lot of work done to it, it doesn’t doubt me that its very quick… but saying that a 600 is faster than my bike is total b.s. … i’ve felt like it all along, and i’ve prooved it over the past several months…
sorry doubtfull. claiming to have the best bike isnt correct. just the fact that a TLR is what it is, and a busa is what it is, and alitre is what it is
