Race Day Media is looking for an intern(Meguiar's, DMCC, and more)

Soners,

I’m sure you have all heard the name Race Day Media over the last couple of months. Some of you certainly know what we do, and I’m sure some of you have no clue.

Race Day Media is a rapidly emerging, owner-operated, marketing and public relations agency I founded in 2007. In the early stages of building the frame work of Race Day Media, I decided that I didn’t want to take on the role of a traditional agency. I wanted Race Day Media to be a company that would bring real value back to the agency/client experience. Race Day Media was to be an evolution of the traditional agency/client dynamic, a much more beneficial relationship, a partnership between agency and client with growth as the only objective.

We have worked with Meguiar’s Canada, Forgeline Motorsports, The Castrol Driftmania Canadian Championships, THMotorsports.com, and a few other recognizable names in the automotive industry. The RDM brand has been tied to some of the biggest, and most talked about multimedia platforms to emerge in the auto industry in the last couple of years.

As we look to what lies ahead for RDM, we see tremendous opportunity for growth. To get to where we need to go, RDM must grow. So we are looking to add to this already talented team.

Now we are not looking for a gofer, we want someone who can really bring something to the table. Be an integral part of our organization. The right candidate will be involved in all aspects of our business, have the opportunity to work on all of our accounts. I’m looking for a passionate car enthusiast, who has an affinity for marketing, social media, public relations, and a strong entrepreneurial spirit would be a huge asset. Besides a love for cars, and a general understanding of marketing. You will need to have strong english skills(written/verbal),very comfortable with computers, tech savvy, and a comprehensive understanding of the latest software applications(microsoft office etc). Another must have will be strong interpersonal skills, as this industry caters to more of the extroverted, and outgoing type. Than someone who likes to keep to themselves.

For the right person this is a great opportunity, you will meets lots of key decision makers in the automotive sector, an opportunity with Race Day Media will help prepare you for marketing, and media opportunities that may land in your lap sometime down the road. Our philosophies and ideas are ahead of their time, and challenge the conventional, and cookie cutter ideas that are regurgitated every day in this profession.

If your interested in this opportunity, please do not hesitate to contact me directly with a resume - Frank@tgiraceday.com.

There will be some renumeration involved, we can discuss that if you advance to the next stage.

I’m currently studying advertising, is someone with that skill set useful to you?

I’m curious as to what it is exactly your looking for.

can you get an intern from a school program?

Georgian has an automotive marketing program that would have likely candidates dont they?
