i just got a 03 sentra today and every time i turn the headlights on the radio cuts out… any1 kno why the hell this is happening???
could be the harness wired improperly. If the dimmer wire is connected incorrectly it might be shutting it off when it should just be getting brighter.
Just a guess but if you could share more information that would be helpful.
aftermarket radio? I’d pull it out and change where it gets the 12v constant and the 12v switched power source.
check your stereo ground

Find a wiring diagram and check where the radio/light wires run, there’s probably a short somewhere and I’m guessing it’s at a splice rack.
