Radiology Technician Jobs?

I have been trying to help my girlfriend find a Rad Tech job since she graduated two months ago, and I am doing an awful job apparently.

I am in IT, and there are literally 1,000,000% more job searches and consulting/placement firms available in Buffalo! It was always easy for me to search and find available jobs and apply to them!

For Rad Tech jobs, does anyone know of any place that is hiring (girlfriends/S.O. work at a medical facility?)

All of the buffalo job sites are empty, and hospitals require one year of experience before they can hire recent graduates. There are apparently no websites for this type of field (at least, none that I can find…) and no recruitment firms either.

She is in need of any type of work at clinics or other smaller facilities. Full-time, part-time, Per Diem(on call) it doesn’t really matter.

She’s starting to talk about moving out of state, and that would just be devastating (as you can imagine) after almost 3 years together and us talking about getting engaged…

I can’t follow her, as I just got a government job. I am not in the position to move…

I’m kinda grasping at straws, hoping someone here has something :frowning:

I’d ask your local heath care physician. A lot of doctors network with one another and may be able to point you in the direction of a colleague that would be willing to put her on part/full time to get her foot in the door.

Years ago a friend of mine started this business for the firm he was working for:

It specialized in radiology. He has since left due to differences with the owner, so I don’t know if they have kept it up and have recent postings. I believe it is free to register for seekers.

He works with another placement company specializing in healthcare. If that site doesn’t pan out, pm me her resume and I will see if he has any insight.
