Random Picture Thread

everyone looks bored as hell except for that one kid on the far left, i think he must have ripped ass or something

One from my wife’s company picnic today:

 nice

Kids need to learn to throw because my arm was falling asleep by the time someone finally hit the target to break the balloon. I was close to giving one a dollar to just walk up and punch the target.

What lens was this taken with?

I love all the microscopic pollen bits scattered randomly over the bee’s eyes

Jay I really like this picture! I’ll have to meet up with you tomorrow if you are at auto-x.

I might be there for a little bit to shoot pictures but probably not.

A couple more trying to get the shot I posted first, which was the 3rd attempt. Timing was just slightly off on the first two and I was at 4000 ms instead of the 2000 I used on the good one.

This one looks like the kid is being attacked by some sort of clear blob.

PS… my favorite one I’ve seen in this thread recently is the bee. That picture is just insane. Waiting to hear what lens was used.

Yeah, no details in the picture

agreed!

+1.

I have to give to you boys. you take some real nice pics.

Went up to the White Mountains in New Hampshire over the weekend:

y not right

finally got to tinker with some HDR’s.

this is the closest I have gotten to anything I think. I focused wrong though.

Gotta love the water mills…

^ Yeah, that’s a good place to stand to take a picture of the mill.

lol 3 pics of the mill so far. That funny.

This is one of my fav pics I have taken. Even though it is a simple pic…

^ Looks like it was pretty bright out. How did you slow the shutter down enough to get the water to smooth like that without overexposing the picture?
