I just got one for a great deal.
has anyone ever used one before? I’ve heard from many that its one of the best stand alone shift lights on the market. and its TINY.

i have one also
easy to use? like it? long lasting?
looks a lot like my harlan… or vice versa…

I seen Neonmike customed his harlan and put 3 LED’s across his instrument panel. it was pretty neat, and you couldnt even see the LED’s when they were off
car isn’t running as of yet :crying: ask me this time next year
You could see them if the cluster backlight was on, i could have put some electrical tape over the back of the LEDs.
my car came with a shift light from the factory starts to flash at 7.5k and goes solid red at 8k fuel cut is 8.2k
ya its a nice added feature
What’s wrong with looking at the tach?
most of the ls1 guys either use the harlan or the raptor. can’t go wrong with either. i have a harlan.
factory tach’s can be inaccurate. Mine is off by ~300 rpms. it reads 1100 on the tach, but I checked with the tach wire coming off of my pcm.
x2 mine is off around 250rpm…
at least now I can shift at the track without guessing
One problem…it says PERFORMANCE shift light…should it be put on a PERFORMANCE car not a Neon?
:owned:
neonmike you never did the led swap for the dash & instrument panel??? looks a lot better that way
There is no need for a shift light. If you need a light to tell you when to shift, pull a pewter and get an auto tranny.
atleast i raced
wow. i’m speechless.
racing involves doing something, sitting back and hitting the gas pedal is hardly racing
even an 80 year old grandma can hit the gas pedal.
oh snap
