the p401 is a comlicated code … it most likely is the d.p.f.e sensor orrr it could be a blocked egr passage also common either way a easy fix . oh and bump for a great truck i have a 98 and i beat the hell out of it

I think thats the code my car had and all I had to do was clean the egr position sensor or whatever it was called.

I definately wouldnt trust a Nissan diesel. The UD at work has one and its the biggest piece of shit ever. Now it wont go over 20 mph for some reason and the CEL is on.
gm postponed the 4.5L duramax indef its supposed to go in half tons and full size SUV’s prolly for the same reason ford hasnt produced theirs…
