If I were to take the engine out of my car (Z32 VG30DETT) what are
some things that I need to know. What steps, tools,
procedures ect. would I have to take? I know its a daunting task but
its something that I’m really considering. It’s gonna save me a crapload
of money.
No one here is going to be able to tell you EVERYTHING that you need to know. I could get into some of it with you but this would turn in to a really long post…

Once you find out what’s involved, THEN you can decide if you really want to do it. 
I am in the process of doing the exact same thing now.If i were you I would do a lot of research before you start.It is quite a daunting task.Just removing all the electronics and hard lines takes a while.If you decide to do it good luck.
