So after 4 problem free years it’s time to upgrade. I am selling my ls1. This engine was originally rebuilt by cars mcQuillin. It’s a 5.7 liter block with mahle forged pistons. Carl did all the bearings in the engine as well. Has a new era hellion cam ([244/248 630](tel:244/248 630)/630 on a 112 lsa), fast92 intake,edlebrock90mm throttle body,and nos 90mm plate. The engine made 400 hp na. On smaller shot of nitrous vehicle has gone 10.2@131 in a 3300lbs car with 4l80e trans. Great compression, no leaks,and no concerns. Not in desperate need to sell. Just really don’t have room in the garage. This engine has been very reliable for me. I have driven almost 5,000 miles this summer with no issues.
slight issue with engine. Very common on ls1 blocks. The outside starter bolt hole on the block has cracked. I will have this professionally welded before I sell the engine. You will need your own oil pan as well mine is going on my next engine
