recording streaming video

hello,

i need help

i was asked to preserve a webcast that will be a one time only feature that is going to play on friday. I am unsure what format it’s in… so that’s the big issue… i’m thinking it’llbe a mpeg2 applet within a website, as most are… or it’s going to be some sort of stream

anyway… are there any programs out there to capture a streaming applet within a page?

i do not know of any!

nevermind i guess?

there you go.

i was going to suggest full-screening it and outputting it via S-video to your VCR. glad i waited.

xbox records a few kinds of streams quite nicely :bigok:

but if your assumptions are correct in the format it will be… it wont help you.

its’ asx asf or avi…

i think i can handle it…

shaler, an in-site applet cannot be maximized… although useless, your suggestion was better than the other one i got in house, “point a video camera to the screen”
