Anyone know anything about this car? I know the Buffalo car scene is small…

Someone I know just purchased it and they know nothing about cars I was curious about whats done to it…

if its the one i think it is its not a 73 its a later year 74-78 with a 73 front and it was running low 8,s at lancaster last year at battle at the border it was for sale then as well

That would be a red 79 with a 71 front end?
If so, it’s changed hands 3x that I know of in 2 years.

I think Misteroman was almost going to buy it a while back.

Yup that was the one.I forget all the details about the car except that it was a split between 2 yrs.The kid lied so many times about the car I didnt even want to go any further with the purcahse.I remember catching him in like 2 lies in a 5 minute conversation.Plus the price kept changing.This was before I even went to see it!!

Reason why it is done like that is guy that built it had a nice 79 with a crap front clip. He then had a clean 73 front clip and it mounted right up.

I think it sold 2 years ago for $4500, then to the next owner for $4000.

The kid who got it knows nothing about cars its entertaining…the wiring is kinda hacked and it has a few small issues but he paid very little for it so the deal worked out in his favor.
