It depends who the owner is and why he owns it. I should start a rental company for my vehicles, I need a huge expense/loss/write-off. There is no law against bad/stupid business.

Yes, I used them last summer. Rented the 911 vert for my mom for her b-day.
Was pricey, but I have no reference for what it may cost in other areas of the country.
Guys were great…car was 95% perfect (had some bad rash on the front lip that was poorly repaired)
The mileage limits were sort of lame, but I understand why they exist.
Overall a good experience. I am looking to rent something exotic in San Diego next month and the companies out there have pricing/selection that seems to be more in line with what I expect to pay.

True, it’s not cheap at all. I guess it depends on what you want to do. For my use it will be well worth it and I am willing to pay it.
In comparison, it is “pricey” compared to other rentals in this area. But, where else can you rent a $130k car for a day for ~$500? If $500 is too much for some they can rent a nice Mustang for about $250.
When I was in Texas a few years back I looked at a 360 Modena. That was $3,299/day…base rate. I don’t remember what the deposit was. Something STUPID.

I started a thread on them last year titled ‘Redline “Exotic” Rentals of Buffalo’ I think but most of my past posts and threads don’t show up.
That’s odd. The only thing I can think of is that you acted as spam somewhere and once marked as spam all your threads were deleted.
I called last minute to rent an “exotic” car in Vegas and they told me they had a Boxter available for like $800/day. I laughed and said, “Uhhhhhhh no thanks”
I did get a bunch of down votes when I said I’d take a Fiesta ST over a new Camaro SS but I didn’t spam anything. :-#

Does anybody know of any other place in WNY that rents out something like convertible Corvette? The Hertz Adrenaline option that was mentioned is not available in WNY. I talked to a Hertz rep and they said the only place that would get any of them is the Airport location and only if by chance somebody returned a vehicle there. My wife has gone to Ukraine with the children for a couple months, once she gets back I want to have an evening out, and I want something nice like a Corvette. At this point the Redline option seems like the only one.
Damn a couple months!
