I checked Redline’s site. They list BOLT-ON PERFORMANCE (like 2min
from my work) and JRP :hsugh: and CANADIAN TIRE (it doesn’t show
CT as having MT though).
Average price per 1L?
Edit:
Accidentally posted in the Nitekids thread :hsugh:
I personally think and if I am correct redline will agree that MT-90 is to heavy for our trannys. I have tried both MTL and MT-90 on my SR tranny (Bought MT-90 by mistake once and put it in before I noticed) and the tranny responds and feels alot better with the MTL as opposed to the MT-90.
You may? Are you nuts. You should have pulled the tranny off while it was on the ground. You want to make sure your clutch and flywheel are good. And your throw out bearing.
Damn photographer… it is SO much easier to do it on the ground. Good news is the SR tranny is alot easier to drop then the KA. Losen the exhaust and the motor will tilt back just enough to get the top bolts out.
If your doing a clutch job anyways why put the tranny fluid in? Just a waste. Unless you plan on getting that thing running before the snow flies… but you might have to put the camera down a little more often for that to happen.
And not to bash Theo but I think you can get 3 bottles of MTL from Tires23 for just under 50 bucks, which is less then $16 a bottle any day of the week.
Hey no poking fun at the math… I said less then 50 is less then 16 a bottle. It was all guestimation. And yea I know Theo said 15 a bottle… but is a group buy really worth saving $1 a bottle when you can just goto the store and buy it?
