Being that $500 is nothing to him, money doesn’t seem to be an object.
Not on a stock ls1, I would go cam only on a stock shortblock, ms3, t-rex ect and have way less then a grand in it and all the poser supercharged f-body would ever see is my taillights.
even streetheaters car I mean the way his mouth runs he’s gotta have the quickest fbody in the USA.
You can’t just drop a T-rex in a stock car and expect to beat a ATI setup. Probably wouldn’t even beat the P1 setup.
a t rex car with full bolt ons, has run a best of 10.43, thats with stock heads, and stock short block
a full bolt on superchared car, with stock short block and stock heads will not go that fast

I disagree… explane why it wont when its making more power from 1000rpm to redline. All else being equal the ATI will win.
I never said it was a good bang for the buck setup. The $/hp ratio isnt great at all, but a D-1 pushing 8-12lbs with the same mods as a t-rex’d car will win.
you take that D-1 ill take a T-rex and 100 shot lets see who’s tailights are seen. going to say the blown car
Nitrous wasn’t factored in for either setup. The ONLY point I was trying to make was that the ATI procharger setup is better than a head/cam setup on a stock block ls1.
This is also just IMO due to the fact that I own neither of the 2 currently, but I’ve been reading the pro/cons of both becuase Im choosing between the two.
Ill tell u what u buy a supercharger kit for ur car and insatll it on ur car. If ur car is an auto then make sure u put a converter in it. Now ill go buy thunders Cheater Cam install it in my firehawk with a stock converter, stock manifolds, stock intake, pretty much stock everything including the tune. I garentee I beat ur ATI setup at the track racing or on the street. I would even put $1000.00 on it.

Care to explane why you make that claim? I’d take that bet in a heart beat if I had the procharger setup. The cheater cam WITH heads is only putting down 400hp (got that straight from their site).
how about a stock long block with just a TR224 making 380rwhp and was a tuned rich? and whats the cheater cam?
blowers are nice but not always practical
Cheater cam is a 214/230 on a 117 lsa. The TR 224 112lsa makes more power than that, regarless, neither cam is making 480+ hp. Besides the T-rex is all peak power, you have to gear the shit out of that cam and you still got nothing down low.
The d-1 running 8psi will def. win over the cheater cam.
How about you just put one in your car if your so sure and find out. I don’t know you but i’m sure the JJ’s guys have put together many more LS1s than you :dunno:
Oh by far they know more than me about LS1’s/cars ect… And trust me, money permitting, I’ll get the procharger setup.
But I still stick by what Im saying about the matter. Given the numbers and times people are running with the 2 setups, the procharger is better.
ill put a couple hundred against the silver street heater camaro on street tires against the gtp or the chevelle
i put down 380 w/ a 3200 stall rich tune n cats 224 cam i did well with that ! on stock heads and others w/ m6 stock heads 224 put a lil above 400 rwhp
