Soooo.... Lambo Doors

can anyone help me find em?

Definitely get them. Murrdog9000 has them on his car, PM him for info.

I think they will compliment your wheels nicely

I cant tell if its sarcastic or not :frowning:

The reason why I was on the fence was because I saw someone who had them and he installed it himself so shitty that there was scraping everytime he opened his door to his actual car side door panel and was VERY bad looking. I was wondering mainly if lambo doors were 100% safe like regular doors

dont get them

/thread

100% not sarcastic… do some reading… they are actually safer than conventional doors. I say definitely go for it.

Hmmm. You think its worth an extra 500$ or so or you think I can find cheaper somewhere?

Any reason? (do you actually have them and not like them) ?

He’s not being sarcastic, he’s insulting your wheels. You won’t find too many people supporting modifications that don’t improve the performance of your car UNLESS it’s a current trend (such as flat black, low offset, stretched tires bla bla bla)

Lambo doors were popular circa 1999 and even then they never gained traction with the core group of enthusiasts in the U.S. Probably because it’s basically an inferior imitation of a superior car. Think of it as putting a ferrari badge on your cavalier.

Little known fact, Lamborghini doors opened that way because the doors where both too long too open in a parking lot next too other cars and too low to open next to curbs.

they just look fucking awful… do the doors on your car not work now?

I wouldn’t settle for a cheap $500 kit… get something legit like this

Let me know if your need further clarification… ok thanks. bye

They work fine. They dont seem to have enough “power” to stay open themselves on a hill or so but other than that I was thinking strictly for looks. Nothing major really

@mafdark

I understand your point of view. now it actually makes sense. So far 4 no’s and 1 yes…

:rofl:rofl:rofl:rofl:rofl:rofl:rofl:rofl:rofl

If I were to buy them I would be hoping not to spend more than 500 for them. Maybe ebay/craigslist? I dont exactly have 1500 to spend

Im just a four rings experts assistant… if you want I could give you the number to the expert I work for. I think he knows a lot about lambo doors.

Id never get them unless they came with the car… And even then I may take them off lol…For $500 your going to get a kit that needs $1,000 worth of custom modification to work. In the end they usually never line up right and the door shocks always go in which case your going have to hold them up with force to get out.

Very few cars can pull it off as a mod.

Typically the car has to have extensive work done to it to the point if it being a show car trailer queen where so much work was done, leaving doors stock would look out of place.

They had their time of popularity and acceptance. It’s gone done. In the same way that underglow, big wings and crazy body kits have gone.

It seems that any mod that clearly screams “hey look at me” is frowned upon by the enthusiast community and usually the general public as well.

Understandably so however as a car with lambo doors is like a guy with a blowout. Someone has to do it, but don’t expect others to hold back their snickering comments behind your back.

Gym, tan, laundry 4 life.

No.
