Yeah def. I always wanted to lambo my civics doors. Dont want to add all the weight of that bracket tho. My vtek is fast as is.
just gonna throw it out there that a cheap door kit would probably compromise the safety of your car since its a rag top. Most verts and unibodies I’ve seen use bracing in the doors to stiffen the chassis via the latches and hinges. So I would think a cheap lambo kit would be a bad idea.
I didnt mean to say I would get a cheap kit. I mean to say I would get a kit for cheap 
There is always people with very nice 2000$ items selling for 500$ because they have to have it gone. I was hoping to get one of those if I got lucky.
So far the votes seem to be fairly evenly split yes and no.

I have all those things you mentions haha. Interior glow underglow, license plate lights, body style, etc. I dont have them to say “look at me” I have so that I enjoy it myself.

Just don’t expect a positive feedback from others, you’re going against the “mainstream” crowd and what’s in at the moment. It’s like a guy wearing parahute pants to a club. He wants to do so, and he’s happy buy that style died (for a good reason).
Car Culture is very social which is why we have to find a spot to hang out every year and we like cruises and chillNgrills. To be social you have to be part of the “norm” in order to be accepted by others. If you break the unwritten laws of the norm you won’t be accepted.
So far most people either clearly said no or were being sarcastic in saying yes.
If you want to spend money on this, you can and nobody will stop you, but ask yourself exactly why are you doing it? It adds weight to your performance car which is counterintuitive, it sacrifices the structural integrity, it uses money which could be spend on the performance aspect of the car, it will further segregate you from the enthusiast community and a large % of people will think it’s gaudy. You may please a CP or two, but buying beer will accomplish much more with them for much less.
All of this just for what? For allowing your doors to do something they do now, which is open? Hardly logical.
Side note, are those trunk kits still available which allow the trunk to ho straight up?
