So I installed this program ACT on my bosses laptop, it is supposed to work with outlook, but she only has outlook express;
When I installed it it deleted all the old emails that she had; How can I get them back?
Will a system restore do it?
ekkksss, usually if the contents of the deleted items folder is deleted, there are gone…unless there is another undelete program installed when the files would be archived.
depending on the way the mail system is setup you might have better luck getting back-ups from the server
^yeah, they may have these on tape if a recent backup was done.

is the email account setup as imap or pop?
where all the messages in there overnight? usually the servers are backed up everynight

if its pop, do a search on her machine for the files.
they might still exist somewhere
has she been able to receive new mail from the past 2 days after those other ones got deleted?
