On topic: i agree that high dollar stereo shit probably sounds amazing, I was just shocked at how much it really could be, and was questioning it’s worth, there has to be a graph with a curve of of cost vs audio quality… i imagine the slope is pretty steep at the begining and tapers to almost 0 as cost increases.
regarding the sig: meh, i don’t see what’s so bad about it. How is any of it not true?
on topic, 100k speakers just seems a tad bit ridiculous. seriously who would spend the $$ on that when u can have a house, few cars, exotic car, or 200 fun trips to the strip clubs for the same price?

Newman, I agree, there would be a very steep slope correlating higher cost to better performance at first, but 100k speakers is just useless.

Seriously, last i checked, freedom of speach was accepted. And not even trying to get into a fucking debate here, but what if you had “OMG america is perfect and everything is A-OK”, if i found that offensive, would i feel obligated to ask you to remove it? no.
The point is, blind faith is not the answer, and sometimes it takes maybe just a little bit of “raciness” to get people to think. If one person thinks about the meaning for one second, then i feel it accomplished it’s task.

hmmm, while that ^^^, figuratively, is what i meant, literally, i probably could care less, because i do care a little bit. 
i think that the answer to the question is really subjective. some people (me for instance) hate cheap beer to the point that i would prefer not to drink if the only choice is coors light. at the same time though, i know what i think sounds good and can’t justfy the exrta cost. i am sure there are people out there than can justify the expensive audio equipment, not me.
and bravo on the sig. the only people who have any say on whether he keeps it up are the folks that run the site since they are owners of the domain. if they aren’t offended and respect a users right to free speech, then it should stay.
