This is the second time I’ve been down here for business. Both times I have had the best food. Compared to the rest of the country, there are only a few things that even compare, Buffalo Wings from Buffalo, and Prime Rib from Minnesota.
This moring I had a killer cup of local grown coffee.
For lunch a roast beef sandwich to die for, i don’t know how they made the sauce, but it was very messy, and i definitly got it on myself, but it was killer non the less.
for dinner, a local brew, with crawfish estufee over rice, and a cheesecake with a brandy rasberry sauce. Holy Moly, and i still have one more day to go!
Last time i was here, i had a fresh chunky seafood gumbo on Bourbon street, with a lb of fresh crawfish, and bunch more i can’t remember. The best part is none of this is fast food or chain restaurants, just local flavor
BTW I also took a trip through downtown New Orleans, when they say total devistation, they mean total devistation. I couldn’t believe what i was seeing. Too bad I didn’t have my camera, it’s just not the same as on TV. Whole sectoins of city just totally destroyed.
