Emery made 8 passes last night- each one had a 118 trap. We’ve just been trying to see how far we can push the stock turbo. There is still room for improvement… but might not really be worth it. Might just be time to go big!
Here’s the “new look”
Maybe we will catch you guys at the rescheduled shootout!

wow thats impressive. I had no idea those could go that quick on such few mods.

They’re not all listed… I’m not sure if they just left the small stuff out, but at a quick glance I can see an intake, motor mounts, radiator, light weight battery, and what ever that gauge is for in the back (maybe just a gauge…). Are you guys running alchy?
Either way, great numbers for the stock turbo.
There are still cams in the car. Its on the buddy club 272’s. Yes there are some weight mods done to the car (small batt kit and ac removed) but it still has full interior and is the heaviest evo you can buy. The car still comes in at well over 3100 lbs with out any one in it. Dont forget that I’m a fat guy (250 lbs) as well. The car does also have a STM FPR kit on it.
As far as boost, the car has head studs in it and we are pushing the turbo way out of its efficientcy<—spelling? range. It is a stock 10.5 hotside turbo with the dual flapper in it. The weather that night was very poor and the air was complete shit! We may go back and try one more time. After that, its back to a 35r to see if we can get it to go deep 10’s?
The trailer was to go to norwalk. To run the 11.4 it was driven to the track and driven home. We dont drive the car everyday anymore though. It needs a brake We have had it for 2 years now and it has 45,xxx on it already. We just bought an audi s4 for daily driving.
