well first off all they were off the car sitting in the basement with no tires so i sand blasted them and painted them at work( i work in a body shop) i was just tired of riding steelies after selling my other wheels. didnt know my vehicle would create so much controversy
i already have people looking into helping me with doing a 4g swap awd. doubt it will happen but they are willing to help and they know what they arte talking about. so who knows

there really isnt much wrong with my car or some hyundai’s other then some of the base motors they come with. there is lots of potential and there is a aftermarket backbone behind lots of stuff. not to mention half of mitsubishi parts fit in with little to no modification. I expected the response ive gotten back from all of you guys just because thats how it is and will always be. i guess if you saw it from my point of view of being broke last year with losing a car and a helping hand and making the best of it maybe youd see things differently. but to his or her their own. im not out to make everyone like me.
yea, thats understandable being broke. everyone is broke these days anyways so thats nothing anyone can hold against you.
I know that the reason for my reaction, i dont know about anyone else’s but, my reaction was just mainly because the car has a very bad looking paint finish on it. I think if you left it alone with factory finish , what ever color it was even pink or green, it would be better and more presentable.
But I dont know… thats just my reaction/impression of your car, I dont know what your plans are maybe your painting it or maybe you did that on purpose or mistake or what ever it doesnt matter its all good…
but thats why I think the car at first glance is not anything to look at, and if I had to guess the paint alone is making others talk about it negatively as well, but who knows.

I was serious. If you’re looking at a 4g63 swap how is a liter bike engine out of the question?
Engine and trans are one unit since the crankcase is also the transmission case. So just plop the entire unit into the back of you car in front of the rear axles. Then use the same chain and drive gear from whatever motorcycle you got it out of. Now you don’t need a diff… really. And a solid axle can’t be much worse than what’s in their now. So… have a straight axle in the back with a larger sprocket (gearing change since your car is heavier) on it. Or have IRS, but I dunno whichever is easier to implement with your existing suspension setup. Then boom, you have the most amazing car evarrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.
