This pretty much sums up this thread. You have people who are genuinely sad for him/family and others just being dicks to look tough and/or smart.

I’m not shedding any tears over anyone. I am simply being sympathetic to his condition. But, your last sentence indicates that you REALLY don’t understand addiction…
Some of us are “Dicks” just because this is so irrelevant. I am not trying to look tough or smart, but why the fuck would I care one iota about this guy? Do I feel bad for his family, sure but not really because I just don’t care. Do you all feel bad about all the starving little African kids who don’t have fathers because they are products of rape? If you answered yes, then I don’t believe you. I have a lot of alcoholics in my family, I understand addiction. I drink a lot myself, but I also have the ability to stop and know that I am not addicted, if I ever lose that control I will immediately be in rehab because as a father and a husband there are much greater priorities than myself.
Again, that is just your opinion. Do you really know what I am thinking? Are you God?

Nope and I also am not specifically pointing anyone out, just saying that you have some people that do it, they always do it. These threads are gold for trolling and some are always quick to jump in and make a stupid comment looking for a reaction. I’m not calling anyone out, so there is no need to explain your logic to me, although I do respect it.
Some cold ass mo frappers in here. We have had many cultural, political, influential, and great members of our history who have struggled with addiction. I just cant jive with the thoughts that because of his personal demons it makes anything else accomplished in life void or not worth celebrating.

Really? This has absolutely nothing to do with this thread. Is NY really killing babies, or are they abortions because there’s a huge fucking difference. If NY was killing babies I feel like there would be a lot more media attention.
