is it a lady’s bike? Cant tell in the pick with the bar.

Would $100 be a low ball offer?

Road bikes must be properly sized to the rider. I suggest you post the seat tube length (it may be on the tube itself, or just measure the length from the center of the BB to the centerline of the top tube)

For anyone interested, this frame is what is called a compact frame, which differs from a traditional road frame, in that it has a sloping and shorter top tube, which maintaining the head tube angles and seat tube angles found in traditional frames. That being said, they cannot be sized via the standover height, as it will appear to be a lot. Traditional geometry road frame are designed more for in the saddle climber, compacts are for power climber who do a lot of pedalling out of the saddle.

To the seller I can list the entire spec list of the bike if it’ll help.

Some notes about the bike:

If these are current pics it is in immaculate condition, retails new (in a shop) for about $550 to 600. That is standard for entry level Road bikes, especially one with Shimano components. $400 would be an ideal offer in that condition. Nishiki was a well known company back in the 80’s and early 90’s but their following is mostly with the touring crowd. They are making quite a resurgence currently in Norway/Sweden/and France and are slowly inching thier way in the US. The frames are made by Giant (who also makes all the lower end frames for Gary Fisher. Trek, Specialized, KHS, Schwinn and others), in other words it’s quality, not Wal-mart level.

Good Luck with the sale!
