If I had know about this a month ago, I might of had just the car.
lol
Maybe next year.

Bump for tomorrow & fresh snow.
on the way running late… on the 90 getting hammered.
That was a BLAST. some of the best roads I have ever driven. I learned a ton.
Definitely was fun driving. It is hard for me to concentrate on keeping the car on the road with all the twisting roads and at the same time listen to directions and look for the next turns. You really need to be anticipating the next move before you get there
What was the name of the cool road with the tunnel? I would make the drive down there just for that road
Mudville Road! Always a good time. It’s just off the south end of Letchworth. Part of it is seasonal and doesn’t get plowed, so if you’re heading out after a lot of snow, be careful.
Got a few photos:
nice pictures. was a beautiful area, that tunnel road was awesome.
We ran A speed which is a 45 mph average speed target. On winding seasonal roads covered in snow in the dark that’s faster than I’d want to go in most cars with most drivers. Driver skill definitely comes into play if you want to keep your car out of a ditch…snow banks help too.
I hadn’t run a TSD event in around 8 years and my navigator had never done one so I was happy with how we did on the first half of the event. We just did it for fun, but once we were there our competitive side came out a bit. Unfortunately we didn’t get to finish this one, but it was only a matter of time before the stock engine in our rally car died and none of us were surprised. It had over 200,000 miles on it and it just spun a rod bearing so we’ll fix this block up and have it back together soon.
I saw you on the side of the road wondered what happened, glad its fixable. that car looked like had seen a few years of abuse lol.
next time I hope to run with A class.
A class is for people that can safely do it. It is way faster than you think, and if you aren’t ready for it, it becomes dangerous - not only for you, but for the people behind you.
You should wait until you can get less than 100 points for most of your check points. Because then you won’t be interfering with the drivers infront/behind you.
Besides, the bump to B speed will keep your hands full in a 2wd car.
