ya i believe it, they upgrade the service as time goes on , usually without making a big public announcement about it…
im on normal RR, want to upgrade soon or double my shit up by getting FIOS, and teaming both connections together.
but yea i was getting 1.1 to 1.2 steady on downloads where my conection was the bottlekneck , this was 6 or so months ago, im curious to go and see what it does now

im 90% ready to go ahead and get fios while keeping my RR connection as well, want to team the two connections together

I changed out my like 6 year old linksys wireless router that would crap out 2-3 times a day for a “buffalo wireless” router, and my speed increased like CRAZY. Im on a laptop, a good 50 feet away from the router, through a bunch of walls and on a different floor, and I got this:
my old router maxed out about 4-5mb/sec
So I decided to hook the laptop up right to the router…
Makes me think about running a shitload of cat5 cable through the house…
FIOS > joo.
I havent even looked into internet…its rolled into my rent, with cable, for $50/mo
