Anything is possible. I know nothing about Tony, it is possible he may a huge dueche, but I spent my life dealing with people who gave me nothing but shit about having a comfortable life growing up.
I always had nice things, from a young age, but that came with a price. Listening to people tell me how none of it meant anything because I didn’t work for it. So when I see people accusing other people of that, I get defensive and will stick up for it.
Money is money, you can be rich because mommy and daddy gave you everything, and still be a top notch person. Its just that, aand speaking from experience, that people like to bring you down for it, either out of jealousy, or them being simply missinformed.
I guess sometimes its just frustrating… I don’t personally flip out on people because of what they have, but it is tough sometimes seeing a fuckin 16 year old kid in a 40k+ car whereas I work my balls off to comfortably own a decent civic and a daily driver. At the end of the day, it is what it is, good people are good people
Number one, being in the 11’s is around # 35768793507 on my list of priorities, sorry to disappoint you. I like to have more than one hobby.
Number two, i’ll go head to head with any stock C5 Z06 and I promise you it will be a drivers race. Ask me how I know.
how do you know?
rofl
13 seconds or less determines which driver is better. Just sayin…
Yea, and I ran my car sub 13 stock. Just sayin…
Its not really a coincedence that theres many more good people in the not spoiled group compared to the spoiled group. I know its been said over and over again but people that dont work for what they have dont appreciate it like they should.
I never got any kind of handouts like cars, money, etc. My parents did help me get loans or loan me money when I needed it but I always had to pay them back.
Sure wouldve been nice to have been born into money or able to work in a prosperous family business but unfortunately I wasnt born into money and nobody in my family owns a business like that.
Ive gotta work my ass off for everything me and the bank own and it definately sucks busting my ass and still being broke at the end of the week.
Please show me statistics that prove what you just said. Otherwise, it is just an blanket statement. I believe how you were brought up is only a small fraction of what makes you a person. People are intrinsically greedy, poor, rich, it doesn’t matter.
I’ll admit I was spoiled rotten, car, college, etc being paid for. But guess what? I started my own business 2 years ago with my own money I had been saving from working crap jobs. 70-80 hours per week, no life, no financial security. It didn’t have to be that way. I could have taken money from my family and slid right through, but I didn’t.
People are people no matter how much money they have. The problem is, the more money you have the more attention you get. Mostly negative, and that is what people focus on.
IMO, you’re less likely to find that “Negative Stigma” on people who worked there way up from nothing to something… I’ve met a handful of wealthy people and you would never know the difference… On the flip side, the ones who are spoiled and ACT spoiled are usually those who are getting the negative attention. I’m not saying you fit the bill, just what I’ve seen.
Sure Ill find a statistic on that statement, or I could just go watch some reality tv for 5 minutes. Or hang out in downtown Saratoga for an hour, it doesnt take a rocket scientist to realize that kids given handouts for the most part turn into arrogant self entitled pricks.
This is true 9/10 ^^
There. Thats a statistic.
I’m just curious… Tony has had no problem coming in this thread an “putting me in my place”…
Now all I hear is cricket, cricket, cricket…
Here we all are speculating about his actions… He’s never had a problem before setting things straight…
Number one, I have watched you @ LVD and you are just breaking into the 12s.
Number two, stock C5 Z06’s can get low 12s on street tires with a driver that isn’t drooling on themselves between shifts. Ask me how I know.
how do you know
:lol
Eventually you’ll learn that you’re living beyond your means. It took me until my late 20’s to figure out that I was in that boat right there with you.
Its kind of a rite of passage though for most of us in our 20’s, I know Im living beyond my means and theres little I can do about it at the moment. Its whats sets us up to be the people we will be in the future financially. Hell I drop probably 200-300 a month on cigars and another 100-200 a month on booze, I have developed very expensive tastes. Its all going to come to an end soon though and Im dreading the day. Luckily Im only 23 and realizing my shortcomings early. The thing Ive learned is that one is never too young to make big moves in life. One doesnt have to be college educated or born with a silver spoon in their mouth to make serious financial moves even at a young age.
