ROTARY INJECTORS

hey hey hey,

well, turbo manifold came in today and i got a test fit, turns out i bought a tubular manifold not a stock t2 manifold so theres no need to make a spacer or get a t2 manifold from japan that will fit on my 6port…

so to my next question…i need some injectors for the car, i’m unsure as to if they are high or low imp.
i searched rx7club, and i’m almost postive they are low imp, so wheres a good place to buy injectors? i only need 2, and they need to be like 800-1000cc… looking to spend upwards to 400 for the pair…figures crossed

here’s the setup…
apexi safc
10:1 fmu to run secondaries
? injectors for secondaries
leaving stock injectors for primaries (figuring i’ll only really need to add major fuel at higher rpms, rpms higher boost levels)

i’ll probably be starting a thread in the projects section in the next two weeks, i’ll have pictures of the mock up and probably the 1st fire up…
i’m not worried about popping the motor, i have 1 yr w/ a license so i can’t drive it anyway, and i have a job and transportation… i love the sound of a 13b with a bridgeport :naughty:

–after doing research, i found out that with a snip and a soldering iron i can run high imp injectors…

The run down at this point-----> i get paid friday, i’m going to run to either advance or pepboys to get all my oil fittings, and coolant lines so i can hook up the turbo, and atleast fire it up to check for leaks (i still have the intake manifold on and no wires have been removed), i will also be buying exhaust pipe to make my custon 2.5" down pipe, i can weld, it dont look pretty but its functional… that will put me here

**** running coldside charge pipes to intercooler than to throttle body, wastegate hook up, and blowoffvalve hook up…at that point…i’d be just about done, just slap the injectors in and hook up the fmu and the test flight will be in about 1/2mo to a month… :blue:

than the real work begins
body mods, interior redec, exhaust, and suspension…than finally paint…

eric did you rebuild your 13b or you just kinda gritting teeth and turboing it?

once again, i don’t care if i blow the motor i have time to rebuild it, i’m just getting it put together so it’s easier once i send the motor out…

if you do blow it we should either do a franken rotor build or a full 20b.

20b is slightly expensive, the lowest i found that motor for was like 2000-3000, plus another 800 shipping…

that would be the way to go…

we should build a 4 rotor…fuck lets go crazy 5…or 6:bigok:
