So King bought this brand new strut mount from the dealership and somehow the rubber bushing popped out… any idea how to get it back in guys?

He tried a vice, but the rubber just compresses. Can’t draw it in with a bolt either. BMW is closed right now and he needs to get to work in the morning.
How do they get them in from the factory?
Angle it in, and use a large flathead from the bottom to compress the edge of the rubber back while pushing from the top; might work.
Been trying that 
Put some grease on it to lubricate it then try the above methods again?
Use a press.

Or use a socket in the vise to act like a press.

Well nothing has worked. He’s going to get a new one in the morning. Thanks guys.
this… grease and press. If i would have seen this earlier I’d have just told you to come over and it would be done by now.
