I think I fixed the downloading issue with some of the maps. Files are now compressed since you assholes and random people playing just racked up almost 1 gb of downloads from the HTTP server. No more 17 MB maps since they are all compressed. If you are having problems, delete them from your local directory and download again.
Dont like the map? Type rockthevote.
Also stats now working. You can use /rank to see where you place.
Bacon’s map is pretty sweet and the newer version is on there now.

Should have an updated revision up tonight. Had a long list of changes to make to it from last night. If you guys have any suggestions let me know now so I can incorporate them.
You should make:
fy_mighty - parkinglot with a bunch of beat up cars
fy_carshow - field with cars in a circle

I’m only working on fy_lavaspeed for now. When it is done to my liking I’ll worry about other ideas. Making custom models, and textures it quite time consuming something I’m going to be very short on come time to leave Buffalo in April.
Trying to make a map with a play area consisting of an open field is very difficult to establish a good flow in. That style would be more suited to grenade/knife only. Not to mention it would get boring fast, once fy_lavaspeed is refined to near perfection then I’ll worry about other maps.
I can probably get us a ventrilo if you guys want to talk during game play, it’s a lot easier than using the in-game system. and you can talk to each other while your not in game as well…

I wanted to get people just USING a mic before i offered a vent/TS suggestion, but I know we will be torn since billy loves TS and im a vent fan personally.
Fuzzy- I’ve yet to play/give feedback on lava so I apologize, but it seems like looking through the screenies it would be awesome for reverse gun game

I think the free ventrilo license supports up to 10 people so it would be fine to use. I can install it on the server if we want but since no one uses the mic, I haven’t wasted my time.
