shitty. thanks for the one anyways.
atleast its running better… i hate meth/alky injection but these subarus and evo’s love it. you need some meth and some boost.
honestly the car would probably react better to more timing rather than more boost. timing is VERY LOW all the way across the powerband… heres my basetiming plus dynamic advance tables (total timing)
this first graph was timing as it was set by seth at moon…
this is post retune from jay…
if you notice he just smoothed out the timing load cells. mainly in the highlighted areas… and adjusted low load high rpm timing areas to get rid of shift knock…
Sti’s are a very nice car,but the wheels ruin that car.
sucks knowing a car with “barbie pink rims” could smoke you doesnt it?
Not really its still a 4 door with a turbo at the end of the day.My s2000 fast enough for me,I still beat 90% of the cars on the road.I purchased it because its a nice car,I can allways turbo it if I want more power.
90% on the road when Im not on it!
:nana :nana
yep, because an s2000 has never run a 13.9 @ 106 :nuts
Today at LVD, brooks snapped 2 axles on drivers side(on DR’s) , then ran 12.9 on street tires :sad
on the way home the 3rd axle came out the tranny, and tranny fluid every where.
couple of good bikes running 7.3 or less
:rofl new guy comin through with the jokes :lmao
I don’t get why, with a car of that caliber, he runs Autozone OEM axles :nuts
new guy thats been around longer than 90% of this fourm
When he returns them we told him to tell the cashier there defective, and he has the stock d series
lmao! :lol
Good idea to set your expectations low in life to not be disappointed.
awww come on now frank. pink rims cant be all that bad if they get me into the top 10 in the 518.
if you miss it your blind
“The only good thing in life that is pink is pussy, not rims” ;D
…
You know what…I’m not even gonna say it.
Anyways…Nice runs Matt, now get a cage in that thing and lets see some tens.
When you make a lot of power, axles tend to become less of a requirement as everyone may think because you spin a lot more. If he was running drag radials, he wouldn’t have snapped one axle the whole night. A lot of power is fine for stock axles… A lot of power AND traction, is not.
I don’t anyone told him much considering I was the one who sold them the axles that snapped and exchanged them for him. I guess it’s kinda nice when your best friend pulls strings for you when you need them.
