Yes they are.
The only difference IIRC is that one of the alternators produces a little more current. Can’t Remember which one though.
If I had to guess I would say it’d be the 91-94 alternator as it has a few more accessories to power over the 89-90.
Looks like to me Philip the 89-90 produces more?
