Planned on using these, but I ended up needing to remove the rear subframe for another reason, so I installed the aluminium full bushings instead.
The collars were installed (for fitting - there’s still a little rubber on em’) and the inserts were never installed.
You get everything you see: (4) Lower collars, (4) Upper collars, (2) Front Inserts, (2) Rear Inserts, (4) Insert washers, (1) Instruction set.
EDIT: Unsure of which “company” made the collars.
$70 (CDN) + shipping (or pickup if you’re down Sarnia way).
The idea behind the inserts is a good one, but out of my 3 subframes I cannot see any way to install the insterts on any of the subframes, either on or off the car. the amount of force required to jam that little piece up inside the original rubber bushing… beyond human abaility. I guess they might go in better if the oem bushing is wrecked.
Good deal on them tho, but don’t ask me to put them in… I tried couldn’t do it.
remove the nut on the subframe bolt, lower the corner of the subframe, put the slotted collar on the top (slot fits around the bolt), put the full collar on the bottom and put the nut back on… they just hug the factory bushing. you do not have to press them in or even remove your subframe at alll.
No Bing, not the collars… the energy suspension poly inserts. They do not go in without a massive fight, it easier to do a 24h engine swap than to get those things in.
