does anyone know if the s13 SOHC is an interference engine?
i have pretty bad timing chain slap but because its my winter beater i’m too cheap to get it fixed (got quoted $600)…
can i last the winter?
yes its interference fit. 600 is an awsome price tho if it includes timing chain kit.
600 is a good price considering how much work it is to replace.

your looking at a days work. I’d pull then engine out to make things easier, fighting with that thing inside the car is a pain. I just pull em out.
