S14 Kouki Lip

Hi, sorry it took so long…

Many subtle differences with the original… as with other items, subsequent batches will see even further changes.

This is the first one out of the mold, i have an extra one available.

This is my Kouki S14 and i mounted the lip in about 30 minutes by driling the top of the lip to line up wtih the factory clip points under the OEM bumper… it took no modification to the OEM bumper. All of the holes are already there. I used zipties.

This lip has not been painted, it is raw black primer. Fibreglass as always… the original cost well over $400 cdn + tax and was on 6+ month back order through all Nissan Canada.

Then count me out. A F/G lip is going to get destroyed, I know there is a guy in the states that sells f/g replica lips for $160US, but no one wants them, everyone told him to make ABS and they would buy it.
Make it ABS and I’m sure you will sell a lot of them.

The process to create an ABS, urethane or CF piece is far different and more difficult than the process to create a fibreglass piece.

I believe ABS requires injection molding, you dont just make a mold and pour liquid plastic into it. It’s not really the same league.

That said, the other lip we do gets made out of FG and people are feelin it.

ABS plastic is not incredibly durable either and it even harder to repair than FG.

I suppose when I say ABS i meant to say urethane.

Either way if its going to be FG then count me out, sorry dude.

I have an OEM new lip, already handed it over to my guy. We’re going to modify it in a similar fashion as the Bings Chuki lip. Making it stronger with a lower extension so that you could bolt on a splitter. There may be other changes depending on how things go. Ultimately i want to keep it just as subtle looking though.

when i know price i will accept discounted pre-orders.
