S14 tie rods vs. S13

I’m looking into the tein tie rods.

I heard that they are 14mm on the s14 where as the s13 tie rods are 12mm.

Also, how much longer is the s14 tie rod vs. the s13?

can someone fill me in? that would be great.

length is the same… 12mm and 14mm refer to the thread pitch of the inner tie rod end where the outter threads over it.

S14 tie rods are the larger diameter and will fit on an S13.

i use S14 on my car and in the future i will only be ordering and selling S14 tie rods sets whether you have an S13 or s14.

i bent both of my OE S13 tie rod evenly just from braking so hard from high speed at random… cause it’s fun.

where would i go about purchasing tein inner tie rods locally?

While you can choose either or, you have to match inner & outer. So either get for the car you already have, or buy both inner & outer S14 tie rods.

There is nothing special about Tein inner tie rods. Unbranded aftermarket ones are the same thing.

i’ve done some research and i’m going to go with TEIN inners and S14 oem outers

that is exactly the set up i use, and from experience i can tell you that Tein inners are just like any other S14 tie rod with a spacer on them. so if you come across some other aftermarket S14 inner dont be afraid to use it.

the outters also look mysteriously like any generic outter tie rod.
