S2000 Turbo Setup

my first s2000 manifold and my 3rd manifold ever…i know there are places to improve, but if you guys wanna shoot up some positive or negative comments your more than welcome. i have been learning new things everyday while building these and i know one thing i really need to improve on is bead consisity.

Wow good job dude, looks like you already know what to work on (consistent bead).
I like how you use V-bands, Overall it’s a very good job on the manifold

f20c’s are hilarious. Look @ those hoses haha. Does the turb just sit on that brace?

there is a brace holding the turbo to the block.

this is probably a stupid idea, but if you clocked the engine like 20 degres you would have a lot more room in that area. you would be able to have a much shorter manifold.

hypothetically

did you just say to ‘clock the engine’?

Even hypothetically that seems like the biggest headache in the world. I.e. No one should do that ever.

No no no…you want to clock the chassis in the opposite direction.

Shoulda just clocked the front diff… Would have freed up so much room!

let the flaming begin lol, to be honest I want to know the reasons and advantages the engineers had when they designed the position of engine…curious about the theory behind it

Probably similar reasons BMW engineers do lo

i guess no one understood what i meant, but whatever lol

Theoretically the only problem with clocking the engine would be tranny positioning… unless there are other components relying on the position of that slanty ass motor.
Anyway clean manifold man, reminiscent of k-series manis. Although it does look like there is some room to drop the turbo behind the strut tower unless you ran into downpipe routing issues? Correct me if I’m wrong

whats supporting the manifold? alot of weight at the front of the manifold with that turbo

is this your new car ?

how much expecting rwhp?

those rad hoses are shorter than my dick

a rod from the manifold to the block.

no, customers car.

did i see Audi manifolds at Technical Tuning that you did?

looked nice… i think they were on an audi anyways

yea bing, thats the one i made for them for his customer
