s2k from hell

Part 2

Maybe you have seen the original videos:

Story be told, I was playing on the street with a busa and lost control at high speed and smacked a wall. Luckily the car was paid off and everything worked out for me. Afterwards I thought about just quiting everything all together and getting rid of everything and calling it a day. I figured now was the best time to do it. After think about it for a month or so I decided to put it back together. I found a shell here on honda-tech in san diego and bought it. A couple things were ruined in the wreck of course and are going to need to be redone but thats ok, well get it taken care of. When I got the shell in I noticed im in for some work with this thing. It was a theft recovery so the title was non repairable. I decided, no more street for me. I’m gonna keep this car strictly on the track. Here’s the pics of the car when I picked it upRead more at http://honda-tech.com/showthread.php?t=2778930&kcplink=1

The interior was all gone, wires cut everywhere, brake lines cut, no wheels/tires, missing steering wheel, no rear end, no motor, no tranny. The paint was a beautiful color untill really inspecting it. They painted the door jams but not the engine bay. Well they didnt sand the car before they painted it imola orange. The car was originaly red and the paint was chipping in several places and you could see the red underneath. I didnt complain at all though cause the cost of the shell was next to nothing!

Since this car is going to be 100% track and wont see any street, I decided to do whatever I needed to do to make the thing fast. Secret Services has made a GM Adapter plate and torque converter to convert the car over to a automatic. To go along with the automatic transmssion I sold my Inline Pro rear end setup and went to a Strange 9 Inch. The car is now having a 4 link built in with a wishbone and anti roll bars. The car has willwood brakes setup on it as well.

Watt’s assembled the short block and head for me.
Using a powerglide transmission
Strange 9 Inch 4-Link Rear End setup
Re-using my T1 turbo setup, going to stay with the s372r for the time being untill the car is dialed in and well swap it out
Car is caged for 8.50’s
Strange Double Adjustable Coilovers
Holeshot Wheels 15x12 with a 3 inch backspace, going to run 28x10.5x15 et dragsRead more at http://honda-tech.com/showthread.php?t=2778930&kcplink=1

Wow, that is a lot of rear tire.

interested to see how the gluide works out for him.

cage is wrong.

the top bar is not supposed to be directly over your head per the rule book, you have to be infront of it.

I want to have an s2k from hell =( lol. Interested in seeing this completed.

could just be the angle of that one picture and maybe the seat is all the way back. But if we’re going to nitpick, I see lots of undercut welds on the exhaust manifold.

that intake manifold is jaw-dropping though.

s2k are growing on me ever since I joined this forum

he went with th400 i believe

possibly.

yeah man s2k’s are no joke…
this guy from a local shop had one running 700hp+ as well…and the same thing happened. He met a wall.

9" rear end.
