Aren’t they afraid the robots will require several daily breaks and demand $15 an hour?
And health insurance… and comp… and unemployment…?
Robomacare. If you like your current programmer, you can keep him.
Well played.

…and 401K… and Christmas “gifts”
I’m glad my job is pretty secure from robots taking it from me lol
i like it
Someone will have to service the robots. Cleaning of these things will need to happen in order to maintain sanitary standards. People of higher skill will be employed albeit far less that what is needed to currently run a fast food restaurant.
Robots replace dozens of people. One service tech is plenty for dozens of robots.

We have customers in the dairy industry who are like a pool service company, they service many, many farms with a few people. You can literally have 2000 cows with very few people. Most farms around here (and everywhere) have cheap Mexican workers, even many of them will be replaced/eliminated soon enough.
The sad truth…shedding all these menial jobs will take go-mint assistance/handouts to the moon. On the plus side, those capable/willing to adapt will see great opportunity through automation.
I am alll for it. At least my burger will be stacked properly.
