I didn’t study, played Sega all night before and got a couple hours of sleep, skipped breakfast, and forgot to bring a calculator and managed a 1270/1600.
Like it has been said already, learn how to take the test. Studying will do you no good.

I do not have any specific colleges in mind
I have had a steady 90-93 average all through highschool and middle school.
I am really interested in accounting or marketing/advertising. Haven’t looked in to colleges yet. Just starting my search and what not. Any recommendations? No desires on type/size/location as of yet.
Thanks for the advice so far, I appreciate it. I am just going to continue going through my Baron’s test prep book and study the flash cards in there.
Hopefully looking to score around a 1900-2100 overall.
My advice is to go out of state for college.
I got 890 / 1600…
… as a 7th grader, and that was a long time ago. (It was 760 as a 6th grader… lol)
I’d argue it’s about the test, and less about the knowledge. You have to know some, obviously, but it’s more about testing mechanics, really.
-How long/much did you study? An hour.
-What did you study most? The practice test.
-What score did you receive? 680 Math + 700 Verbal = 1380/1600
-Average in High School? 94.11
-Most difficultly with what section? Neither
Any tips on how to study or prepare? Get a good night’s sleep and eat a decent breakfast.
Syracuse has a very good school for advertising and marketing, called Newhouse. worth looking into, although its certainly not cheap
advertising/marketing and accounting are about as far apart as you can get while still being in the business school. Accounting, if you go to a halfway decent school, you WILL bust your ass, you will have nothing to look at in your classes, but you WILL have a job in the upper half of 5 digits when you graduate right away. Marketing, your classes will be full of hot broads, you can blow off a lot of them, but when you get out you have to be creative with getting a job. (Which creativity is a cornerstone of that major anyway.) Left brain = accounting, right brain = marketing.
