I’m trying to change out a fuel filter on my 03 saturn ion.
Simplest job in the world.
Does anybody know if this thing has a non standard fuel line?
I have a metal 3/8’’ - 5/16’’ quick disconnect tool, and I can’t get the smaller one to release the clips on the hard line.
Spray some PB blaster on it and try again tomorrow? Or am I using the wrong tool?
I’ve done this a bunch of times on fords with much worse rusty ass looking filters, and they come right off.
This filter looks absolutely fine, no rust at all under the car, or on the filter.
