Agreed, for the price of buying an 7-12K E46 DD and the S2K you could have an E46 M with light mods, and have the best of both worlds, Stock Ms are quite impressive, UGH I wish I could bring myself to shell for one. :roflpicard:
I’ll sell you mine
:word: Do it up. OT: I hope you weren’t talking to me, I dont need anymore temptation.
either person I don’t care… I’ll get rid of the car. I have something else in mind right now anyway
Tyler I so go for that. out of the box theres nothing like it, plus its not bad daily either. I wouldn’t hesitate.
how much do you want for it?
basically what I was trying to say…
Not even, they are relaxed on how many owners the car has when BMW doed the BMW fix, or do it right and shell out for the Turner kit will cost you ~$1200.
Picking up a 2002 325Ci tomorrow from Michigan. White on black. :wiggle:
You gotta look out of state, there is nothing worth much locally.
ughhh, worst body style from bmw imho. get yourself a 5series, you will be much happier.
If you do end up getting an e46 I would definitely recommend getting an 01 or 02 with options. (sport, premium, cold weather) Most early models (99/00 323/328) have no options, most don’t even have heated seats. I’ve even seen them without a cd-player. The only downside is the price of course, if you want cheap then 323 is a good choice but personally I’d pay another grand or two and get one loaded up.
just my .02
IMO, a cheap daily is like a 3 or 4k car, not dropping 10 large on a high mileage BMW.
I agree with a few who have already posted. Get a 3 series or M 'vert. Kill 2 birds with one stone. Maintaining, insuring and storing more than one car gets old. I’ve been living it for a few years now. I’m getting to a point where I want 1 nice car.
e46 is definitely my favorite so far.
I didn’t realize that it has a common subframe mounts problem.
this is much more common on early e46s 99 and 00
01 and 02 as well, they reinforced it more when they had the face lift
