The way you buy MP3s. MP3s have been out since the 90’s and were popular for sharing music and putting it on a PC but when the iPod came out in 2001, it was the first simple, user focused device that brought the MP3 to a portable state and was the first device to make its way into the greater public. There was a few solid state MP3 players but when the iPod came out, people quickly associated iPod as a term for a mobile MP3 player. After that, iTunes exploded as a online vendor and shifted the market place for buying music from CD stores to iTunes, Amazon, and other online retailers. So again, iPod’s had a ton to do with the popularity of MP3s.
Based on your general usefulness on this forum and the intelligence level of your posts and responses, I feel you may not be too capable of anything requiring significant brain power and a high school education so this thread is a lost cause and a simple troll.

On a side note, his way to beat the system with never having a license plate was pretty entertaining. There was an article about it and I guess in California you can but a car and drive it for 6 months without putting a plate on it. He setup a lease program where he gets a new car every 5 months so he never has to have a plate. Innovation my friends.

- Video calling
- Digital music
All existed before Apple created products that used them, but went mainstream after Apple. (Video calling was mainstream in Europe, but was on the decline as Apple released it for iPhone in the US.)
