picked up a seat to shorten for lower seat height on the sled…got it all cut and reshaped, need to smooth it out now.
anyone have recommendations for smoothing it out???
how dense is it? I tend to use a heavy grit sandpaper and just drag it across in one direction to smooth it out…this doesn’t work though if it’s really soft and porous foam.
angle grinder?
welp, I tried one of these things with pretty good results. just needs recovered now.
(took ~6" out of seat, about a 2 pound weight loss but will make it easier to tuck down behind windshield for better aerodynamics)
