My sister just got scammed out of $4,000 today
She did exactly what is in the link, started with a phone number in the pennysaver.

The white van guys got me over the summer.
I new from the start it was a scam. She told me on the phone call up this number blah blah blah. Started to question her more on the phone.
It’s a scam don’t spend any of that money, long story short she calls the police and now the county is investigating. she only spent under $30 of it.
So i’ll keep this updated.

they tried to get me and got mad cause i laughed at him and say hey your that douche bag white van guy im not dumb enough to buy your crap he followed me into work and keep telling me it wasn’t crap and im missing a great opportunity
he left rather quickly when i told him ill see what the cops think of his shitty stereo stuff lol
my buddy bought it then came down my house with it saying look at the great system i just bought…
when we unboxed it, the Receiver did not even have an optical/coax jack on it… just stereo RCA…
We tracked the company down eventually to a company in moon, if i remember correctly, and we went out there but the place was closed… i don’t think he ever got in contact with them.
He claims they pulled a gun on him, but i think he was just too embarrassed to say he got taken.
Yeah I bought these speakers outside of the Buy n Fly on Campbell’s Run. I was gonna flip em on eBay… until I saw the high bids of $26…
So I went out to the place they were at, which was in Imperial. Got my money back. The dude who hustled me for them even unloaded them from my car. He’s like “yeah man you didnt like em?” and I was like “No, I’ll take my JVC’s over these any day.”
Yeah imperial is where their little office was, i don’t remember where but it was in a strip mall type office building.
another scam is the job in the pennsaver “working with class 2 medical equipment” they give you the “majestic” sweeper , have you practice your sales tech. in your family over a 5 day period, then they say they pay you 1000 bonus and you get a rolex for selling 5 and you get blah blah blah , 20 bux a hour and so on , then after the weekend is over they tell you that they need your equipment to clean it and stuff , then after you hand it over they say SEEYA!! i broke a few building windows and car windows with rocks while the whole 15 of us were leaving… they say they are part of the FILTER QUEEN ! but if you call filter queen and ask about their office…they say they dont have a office at that location…
I also almost got picked up by the Quixtar scam, man was that weird. Those guys are like a cult…

Actually quixtar isn’t a scam. They are a MLM, or a type of ‘pyramid’. However, they do in fact deliver products if you buy them etc etc. They are Amway with a changed name. My brother got involved with them some years back. Really didn’t cost him money, just time.
But you are right, i have seen and heard some of the pitches of the recruiters…very cult like…LOL

The funny thing about the white van scam is that, they put ads in like the Post Gazette and shit saying: “WANTED: Music lovers, audio installers, muscians”. I went over to their office not realizing what it was until I met the “manager”. Anytime you have a guy in a little office wearing a fake leather jacket smoking peach flavored Phillies, you KNOW some shady shit is up lol. If you go into their so called warehouse there is probably about 1000 sets of those shit ass speakers stacked to the top of the ceiling. But yeah it is over in Imperial in a mini industrial park/type building.
haha im glad im not the only one who got had by the white van they got me in imperial to they tryed to sell me this home theater system for 600 and i was like ah no then they kept bugging me and i was like how bout 50 bucks lol and they loaded all the stuff in my car no reciever just like a surroud sound system its all " theater logic" knockoff shit but actually works pretty good but still pissed i was had
