I think this holiday season is going to be there way of liquidating the remaining stores without selling the stuff at a major loss. That would be the smartest thing for them to do if they want to go out somewhat on top. Have all of these “sales” before the holiday, then after only stay open until the end of january/february so people can use gift cards etc.
I know i work at BB, but even before that i just could never comfortably spend a lot of money at circuit city…always felt like i was trespassing when i was in one of there stores. all i wanted to do was get in and out quick.
