i appreciate the good word, do i think it will happen this year, maybe not, but maybe so…There was a 1g that went 11.00 with 364-374 awhp stock motor on e85. So i think we can all agree its not impossible. But like already stated i agree it’s bench racing and thats fucking retarded.
AS for arch angel i have stated many times that i like all cars, and i dunno why you have so much hate towards me at all.
Why do i like Dsm’s? Why do you like mustangs its all the same reasoning in the end. What we like is what we like.
A few reasons i like my car,
- its fairly rare, and i have owned previous dsm, both have which have been nothing but reliable, no breakdowns ever.
- I DD it with full leather interior front and back, Air conditioning, so on and so forth. 20mpg and i dont care if it snows a foot ill get to work on time.
- Let’s say you are right and i can’t run 10’s or whatever, even still 11’s in a DD with all the ementities for sub 5k is a great deal as far as i can tell.
BTW toms motor was half in the grave, and his tranny was in pieces, plus he had a flat tire, on top of that he is self proclaimed bad driver.

on a side note, this is a stupid thread. I feel inclined to at least put my input as the OP obviously Is a shit stirrer. I dont really care what my car personally runs, but i dont need to point out that there are 1000’s of dsm’s that run 10’s and its definitly possible to do on a budget.
- i dont even like the track, I have had a fourth gen z28, mustang notchback, an all motor hatch, a DSM, a boosted civic hatch, and with all that i have maybe made 100 passes total, this being in a span of almost 9 years. The track has so many variables that sway cars from one time to another. Weight reduction and driveability being the main one
- However I do enjoy driving down xxx road on my way to and from work or anywhere else, seeing another modded car and running it if its a mutual idea.
- I enjoy modding cars and seeing what you get out of it, but im also at a point in my life where it is significantly down on my things to do list
Somewhere after going to my day job, running my own business, subcontracting for a buisness, doing side work installing carpet, trying to get my ass in school, and somehow trying to find time to have a real marriage where i see my wife more than 20 minutes a day.
My truck would also run tens if it were faster.
Oh and if I only got 20mpg in a tiny 4 cylinder I’d light it on fire and collect the insurance. That’s horrible.
Lol, so true, Im a big fan of warming up my car for like 15-20 minutes, and at 26 psi with 1000’s thats about as good as it gets.

Why does it matter what Rob spends or claims to take his car into 10’s. That’s his business, he and the rest of us mod our cars for fun. Some may spend more or less. Drag racing has become kind of boring, it may be just me but it’s old news.
You can run 9’s for 6k if you can handle it… pm me for deatzzzzzz
