cant be a good driver with a shitty trans. and i spent that much because i was doing other things than making it go fast. ( leather interior, and just other random things not really needed) i could have easily slapped a 1000$ jacks trans and a big turbo on it and went faster. and btw he really does have less than 5k into his car. and it should be real close to 10s with new setup with some seat time.

for the record, the mustang went 12.09 with an almost stock 350 in it. I’m sure I could run it into the low 11’s with minimal changes to the setup in my truck.

not street driving a car dosent make it faster, and yeah it makes me sad that a stock early 70s truck 350 with a cam ran the same times as a bolt on ls1 t/a.
That is sad, dont brag about that. if the car had 300hp when it went 12s it would be lucky, thats crank hp. not wheel.
the motor in my truck with a glide and the car would go 11s, thats with pitiful 305 small chamber heads. cmon now.
